Welcome to the Typical Mac User Podcast

Welcome to the new Typical Mac User Podcast Web page.

My name is Victor Cajiao and I’m currently the host and producer of a show called the Typical PC User Podcast.

I became a Mac switcher in August of 2005 and started doing a series of podcasts on my Typical PC User Podcast site called The Mac Switcher Chronicles .

After doing four of these shows it was apparent to me that there was a need for a podcast that was geared towards the new Apple Macintosh user and one that the host and audience could participate and learn together about Mac computers, tips and tricks for the Mac as well as share their PC to Mac Switcher Experiences.

Well that’s what the Typical Mac User Podcast is going to be all about. My mission for this podcast is to go on a journey with my audience in the everyday “Typical” use of our Apple Macintosh computers.

In the show I will provide tips, tricks, software and hardware reviews for the the Mac. We will discover together all that there is on the world of Mac and honestly discuss the good , the bad and yes even the not so good in our Mac experiences. This show will not be a show about slamming Microsoft Windows or other operating systems. It will provide a balanced approach to using our Macs as our primary computers and how we can enjoy our Mac computing experience.

In the next few days I will be preparing this site, my premier Typical Mac User Podcast, setting up the RSS feed and adding the podcast to the myriad of Podcasting Directories.

The show will also feature the audience. That’s right because we are all new or kind of new Mac users, I am going to really encourage the audience to get involved with the show by writing emails to typicalmacuser(at)(gmail)(dot)(com) and sending audio files to the same email address.

Get ready to have some fun learning about you Mac while listening to the Typical Mac User Podcast.

Enjoy

The Typical Mac User Podcast is Victor’s latest incarnation that builds upon all the great information and podcasts that he has done in the past year.

I quote Victor in saying “Macs are PC’s too”. After all, PC stands for Personal Computer, although the term has been widely associated with Intel/Windows based machines.

So, come along with us and see what kind of new ground we can break here, learning together, teaching each other. This is what true podcasting is all about.

Victor is not the “guru” on the Mac subject and he will be the first to tell you so. Through Victor’s blog sites and podcasts, he is providing us with the conduit or means of communication to help us accomplish the things we want to learn.

It’s only through our mutual cooperation and participation that the utmost knowledge is gained by all of us involved.

    Hats off to Victor!
