On the road with EVDO
Well Mary and I are well on our way. Yesterday Mary was driving and I was using my Powerbook 15″ with the Kyocera QLM-650 Card, using the Verizon EVDO.
Truly a “geeky” experience. My wife was driving down I-15, going almost 75 MPH (yeah right), just north of Las Vega while I used iChat and Google talk with Mark Sheppard (one of my listeners), and George Startcher from In The Trenches.
Got a respectable 131kbps download speed and 81kbps uploadt. Pretty good. Keep coming back , I’ll publish more in the next few days.
