This is a special podcast where I do what must be one of the first “Real World” Demos of the Belkin TuneTalk, which is a iPod recorder that can be used to record high quality audio files directly via external mic or mini 3.5mm mic to an iPod.
I put the TuneTalk through it’s paces only 1 hour after purchasing it. I record with the External Mic, a Sony ECM-MS907, Giant Squid Lavaliere Mic, Shure SM58, a Heil PR40 all directly plugged in to the TuneTalk. Finally I record from my Mackie Onyx 1220 Board directly into the TuneTalk.

Good review. I think the ECM and the squid were just ok, but the Shure and the Heil sounded good. It seemed like Victor was talking a little bit softer than normal. I am curious on how it would sound in a louder environment. Could ya do a recording with and talk a bit louder?
Awesome review though!
