The New iPod Shuffle! Do I have one on the way? You Bet

Filed under: Podcasts — Administrator @ 7:23 am

Apple today yesterday that its new second-generation iPod shuffle will be available in Apple retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers this Friday, November 3rd. Apple calls this new model “the world’s smallest digital music player.” It offers 1GB of storage, which holds up to 240 songs, and is priced at $79. Yesterday I was able to order this beauty at the Apple Store.

This one is just too nice not to buy just for fun or for someone you like on their birthday or the holidays. Go ahead. . . what are you waiting for.

Disco Beta is officially open and you don’t need to look good to get in

The Disco public beta is now available from MacZot for $14.95. Disco is a new CD/DVD burning application that not only burns your discs but lets you see the “Smoke” in the burn. Check out the YouTube video I made of it buring below.

Also I’m talking to Peter from talkshoe.com right now and he is going to have a special show featuring Disco tomorrow (I think). I will provide more details to how you can put on your “Dancing shoes” and join Peter for his live podcast, and maybe even a very special offer. Stay tunned here for more details.

Make Magazine and Websites are a blast during the holidays

Phil Torrone ( a huge Mac Fan), and the rest of the gang at Makezine put out some of my very favorite content on the entire internet. However during holidays (Holoween specifically), they really turn up the heat and post some incredible articles. If Make is not part of your RSS, what the heck are you waiting for. If it is, enjoy the Makezine Buttery Goodness.

Just one example is the MAKE:CRAFT:HOLOWEEN Contest
