Rob Walch nails Urban Dictionary definition of “netcast”
Rob Walch from podcast411.com nailed the definition for the term “netcast” in the Urban Dictionary. You all know how Rob feels about this subject if you heard the last Typical Mac User Podcast. I support his views, in that the “netcast” term just does NOT cut it as compared to “Podcast.”
The last thing we need to do is splinter the podcasting community, and confuse the consumers by using terms like “netcast.”
Right on Rob, you nailed this one . Please go read the description, and give it a “Thumbs Up” so that it sticks.

I can identify with the problem that Leo is trying to sort out by
calling his shows netcasts, but on the other hand he is adding MORE
confusion to the fire. Now, I have to explain not only what a podacst
is and it does not equal iPod, but if someone hears about a netcast
from Leo or others I have to explain that too.
Pfft. Podcast isn’t perfect, but I like it and it has been around form
the begining. I like it and I am sticking to it.
