I have received the Audioengine 5 Speaker System for review. First impressions are very favorable. I felt like I was unpacking a new Apple computer. Very clean packaging, good instructions. The speakers have a beautiful design and were easy to set up in my studio. I will review these speakers in late October or early November. So far, I’m impressed by what I see and hear.

The folks at iFrogz.com were at the Podcast Expo and sent me an iFrogz case to try out. I was able to pick the color I wanted, and it came in today. I told them I would use it for two weeks and review it on the show. First impression are OK. I like the material and the color, the clip seems a bit flimsy but we shall see. The band that goes around the outside makes it hard to connect to the dock easily but again lets see how I feel in two weeks. I’ll share my full review then.
