Parallels is not the only game in town. Fusion is here

Well the folks over at VMWare have finally released Fusion.

This new VM allows Intel-based Macs to run x86 operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, NetWare and Solaris, in virtual machines at the same time as Mac OS X. Like Parallels it will allow you to run PC applications on your Intel Mac. I want an Intel Mac more than ever but since I can’t afford one yet, all of the listeners of the podcast will have to write to me or send me a voice mail at 206-203-0313 letting me know how you like Fussion.

Time Magazine Person of the year is “YOU” so it’s “Me”

I present to you then 2006 Person of the year Victor Cajiao.

Ok it’s time to DIGG this show, or I may vanish into podcast obscurity

Folks DIGG.com that bastion of popularity on the net, now has a podcasting section. I have added the Typical Mac User Podcast to the directory and in true Web 2.0 fashion, and high school, my podcast just won’t be considered “hip, cool, slick, valid, important, put in adjective here” unless many many people go to Digg and Digg it.
So yes I need to bow down to the Digg God’s and have you go and DIGG my podcast, less I vanish into podcasting obscurity for not being “Diggable.”

It’s amazing to me that the geeks of the net have gotten to the point where unless you are “Popular” in all the right places, you are “invisible.” Yes very much like high school. Do I still need to comply. Yes, because if I don’t the I will just blend into the masses of podcasting and don’t you know that podcasting was suppose to be about the people not big media not the “haves and have not’s” Well that’s how it was suppose to be. Reality I find; post high school is just not like that, so Digg, Digg, Digg, Digg, Digg. . .
