I know it was almost a month ago but I am finally getting around to going through the bag of goodies I got from Macworld. One of the many booths that caught my eye was that of Mpix, an online digital printing company. At first glance, it looked as if Mpix was just another player in the crowded market of online photo printers. As I looked around though I discovered they offered a lot of other products besides the standard 4×6 prints. Their samples of calendars, greeting cards and magazine covers looked awesome, as did their statuettes and gallery wraps.

My family and I take a lot of pictures and are always looking for creative ways to share them. We looked through the mPix website and decided to order a deck of playing cards with a recent picture of our two daughters.

After downloading and installing mPixPRESS we were able to quickly upload our picture and doing some simple editing.

Within just a few minutes we had our playing cards designed and ordered. Four days later, the cards arrived in the mail (and we ordered with the least expensive shipping option). These are high quality cards and the picture is superb.

Now, we’re looking for pictures to use for statuettes, greeting cards, post cards and calendars – all great gift ideas.
