I have an older PowerMac Dual G5 2.0 and am dying to upgrade, but this ol’ box still runs good. By the time my Applecare is up, hopefully they’ll have a “Sweet 16″ model, ha-ha!

As far as the Apple store. I was able to call in and say "What is the biggest configured Mac Pro you have" They told me a 2.66GHZ with 1 Gig of Ram (You know your basic Mac Pro). I asked if they could add the memory (yes they could and they did). I asked if they could add the Bluetooth and Airport card (yes they could and they did) I asked if they could add a 500GB HD (no they could not and did not) I did buy a 500GB HD that night at COMP USA for 198 (out the door WOW) and installed it on the MAC PRO in (and I'm not kidding you) 7 minutes flat (I timed it). So yes all great comments and I agree that it's a good out come. I think you should have had the MacPro from the start. This is a much more robust machine than the iMac. That machine is for kids to play with. The MacPro IS A MANLY MACHINE.
