    Victor,

Another great and fun show. Sorry I couldn’t stick around for the Apple sing-a-long. Have a great time on vacation. With all the hard work you have been putting in of late you deserve a little R&R.

I too will be gone starting Saturday (cruise to the western Caribbean) but I know you left the TMUP show in good hands.

    Buena Suerte!

Great fun, Victor. I think I’ll become a regular listener/caller to the live show as well (been a fan of the original since the beginning)

Hi Victor! Love the show. I’m a relatively new Mac user and podcast listener since September of last year and have benefited alot from this podcast! :) Infact, you could say you helped lean me towards buying my Macbook!

I have a question regarding Main Menu and Onyx. Which one do you think is more powerful/better?

I currently use Onyx because my brother-in-law recommended it to me and have been wondering if Main Menu is any better?

    Thanks Victor!

My first listen – great fun and informative. Before converting to mac myself recently I ran with linux so I can offer this small addendum to your verbose mode startup.
You can save yourself some frantic scribbling and potential eye injury by booting as normal (or in verbose mode – whichever). Just open a Terminal and enter the command: sudo dmesg
to be shown the output that may have scrolled past too fast for you to catch. Also this command: sudo dmesg > startup.log
should make a file in your home folder for you to study at your leisure.
    HTH
May the source be with you.

I like both Onyx and Main Menu, but Main menu is a bit more flexible in my opinion

Thanks Victor! I’ll give it a try since I’m right now ADDing at work. :p
