Typical Mac User Podcast inspired a PC Weenies Toon

Wow how cool is the net. A few weeks ago I had Paul Kafasis CEO of Rogue Amoeba on the show. Krishna the creator of PC Weenies was listening to the show live and heard me suggest that PC Weenies should do a toon based on the Rogue Amoeba mascot know as Ammo.

Here is the awesome toon that Krishan did. How cool is that toon and how cool is the internet where communities of software developers, cartoonist and podcasters can unite. Woot is right!!

Eight Cores for $1797.00 U.S. is too much for this Mac Geek

Well it finally got here. The long anticipated eight (8) core Mac Pro. Yes , yes I know that I just got my MacPro last month.  So should I be bummed out that I did not wait?

How about “NO.” The new eight core processor will set you back an additional $1797.00 U.S. That is enough to buy a very beefy Mac Book. Unless you are using you Mac Pro for the most demanding proffesional deals I think this is not the “Typical Mac.”
