Leopard in October? Aw Man.
Yes, it looks like it is true. Leopard won’t be out until October. The reason for the delay is that they are trying to get the iPhone out on time, and I assume that means moving developers around.

A little dissapointed? Yes.
At least it’s not as long as Vista was delayed.
Bring on the iPhone!!!

As much as I’m curious to see the iPhone succeed, Apple needs to remember about its current user base, especially those new switchers. I’m hoping the delay will bring about a much better experience than Tiger is now. I love Tiger, but there are still inconsistencies that need to be taken care of. Hopefully we’ll see those addressed in October.
My worry is that the more time you give MS to catch up with Vista SP1, the less of a thunderous impact Apple might have with Leopard’s release.

BTW, Victor, I commented twice under the “TMUP73-04-11-2007 History of the GUI” submission but it still keeps showing as having no comments. I thought it was my browser but after having flushed the cache and posting the second comment from another browser, it’s still showing as having no comments.
Just thought I’d give you a heads-up.

If I would have wait for it and find out this, like Victor was going to do, I would be so mad. I love Apple but this year it’s been full of delays. I hope there are no more delays or Redmond guys are going to make fun of us. Not that I care.

I think Apple is really showing some bad behavior here. This is a slippery slope and they need to remember their roots as Apple Computer not Apple Phone inc. My quick comments, more to come on the podcast.
