WiFind™ is a good Find

Kreg Steppe from the Valid Syntax Podcast and blog sent along this niffy find. WiFind™ from Tastyapps.com , shows you if wireless networks are locked or unlocked and their signal strength – right in the airport menu.

It’s a tiny lightweight plugin for OS X that makes connecting to reliable wireless networks quicker and easier. WiFind™ is shareware and at only $8.00 U.S. it is indeed a good find.

You can try it for free too. The developer does warn us that thsis is the initial release of WiFind™ so it’s not perfect. Thansk Kreg for the good find.

  1. I wrote about it on osxhacker.com, and just wanted to let readers here know that after writing tastyapps, I received notice that a new version with support for proper signal strength reporting on Core2Duo’s will be out soon.
