DRM Free Music Ready to go in iTunes
As promised the iTunes music store is ready to provide some DRM free music. Get your iTunes 7.2 upgrade at the iTunes Music Store. Also there is a new feature called iTunesU which provides content to some university iTunes stores.

It’s nice to see this come to fruition, especially from Apple. Music that’s DRM-free is definitely worth the little extra to pay for. If sites like Magnatune can serve the consumer properly, so can Apple. Good on ya!

Yippee!
I went to iTunes today and updgraded my library! $14.04 for 78 total songs, 5 songs and 4 complete albums.
Hopefully, a lot of people will upgrade and send the other labels the message that some are willing to pay $1.29 for DRM free, higher quality audio.
