My wife and children gave me a 40G Apple TV for my birthday, plugged it in and it lasted 10 mins before going into a 10 sec reboot cycle. Returned it to Amazone who just did a refund instead of replacing and then found Apple store were selling the 160G ones, so ordered one. Just goes to show -- Every cloud has a silver lining

Actually, it may be cheeper to upgrade the HD yourself rather than pay the $100 difference. I'm thinking that's what I'll do with mine. THough then again there is that whole warranty issue. But it should be easy enough to reinstall the old drive so long as you keep it handy if things go wrong.

Actually I believe I will be able to take mine back since it's less than 15 days old. We will see this weekend if I do or not.

Haha, thats the way it always goes Victor. You buy some awesome tech gizmo and then a week later a bigger and better one comes along lol. Nice update though. Now I might actually think of purchasing one so I won't have to pry it open to upgrade the HD.
