New Mac Book Pro’s don’t wait until WWDC
Today the Apple Store went down and when it returned there was a brand new set of MacBook Pro’s on the site. This new laptop by Apple shows up ahead predictions that a new MacBook Pro would show up at the World Wide Developers Conference.
The latest MBP are oowered by the most advanced mobile processors from Intel, the new Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro is over 50% faster than the original Core Duo MacBook Pro and now supports up to 4GB of RAM. You can now get at 15″ 2.2 GHz at $1,999 , a 15″ 2.4GHz at $2.499 , or a 17″ 2.4GHz at $2,799.
As expected the 15-inch model uses a new LED display, while the 17-inch model now offers a new optional 1920-by-1200 high-resolution display.This looks like one sweet new Mac Book Pro

These are some AWESOME specs, and I’m glad that they are using NVIDIA this time around. Being the geek that I am I also want to install Ubuntu on it and they already support the latest Intel Macs natively (no need for rEFIt) and NVIDIA is well supported under Linux. I can’t wait to read the reviews on these.
Plus these are based on Santa Rosa, so I imagine this also has the vPro management tech as well as the Intel Turbo Memory NAND caching system.
I can’t wait until I can afford to get one later this year!

I’ve heard there is hiss in audio and that the screen flickers on the new 15″ macbookpros. I’ve looking to switch till I heard about these issues.
