Victor has had dual monitors setup since the day he got his Intel MacPro.  I also use that setup at work.  At home I have had to live with monitor envy as I have a 17″ iMac G5 2Ghz.  Today I was at the Apple Store and picked up the Apple mini VGA to VGA adapter for $19 USD.  Next I went back to an article I saw about monitor spanning on Macworld several months ago. It is working great for me.  If you do this you do so at your own risk.  Be very sure your system is on the supported list.  Even then you should back up your data etc etc etc.

Today I visited the Green Hills Apple Store here in Nashville. There was a good crowd present and a number of iPhones were being purchased. I played with one for a little while and can see the allure. I would be tempted if not for my cell phone is provided by work and it being t-mobile I am familiar with how much Edge sucks. That is not enough for me right now to get into a two year contract with AT&T. Now do a full ipod in the iPhone form factor and I would run to the store right.
