Podcast Ready Contest. Please help me win

Hi folks, I need a favor. If you have not heard of Podcast Ready then you need to check it out and help me at the same time.

Podcast Ready makes finding, managing and delivering podcasts easier. You can listen to podcasts on the website or download them to your computer or MP3 player directly using our myPodder(TM) “podcatching” software. Unlike other podcast applications, myPodder allows you to run it directly from yor MP3 player without being tied to a single computer. You plug your player into any computer, launch myPodder and click the “download podcasts” button. Once the downloads are complete just unplug your player and take it with you.

Podcast Ready is giving away one placement on every copy of myPodder to one lucky podcaster. This means that my podcast feed could potentially be pre-configured on MP3 devices from iRiver, Cowon, Skullcandy, and Wolverine (just to name a few) as well as in every copy of myPodder downloaded from our site, and other’s. If I win my show will remain in the line up until it has received 100,000 downloads from new myPodder users.

So here is what you do

    1. Go to http://www.podcastready.com and register a new account (this will require a valid email address) use the promotional code tmup.
    2. If you are already a Podcast Readyy member update your account wiht the promotional code tmup.

    3. That’s it, you have just made podcasting easier for yourself and you have helped me potentially get 100, 000 dowloads. (I hope).

Skitch Invite Only Beta is here

Well unless you are brand new to the show, you have heard me talking about Skitch from the great folks at Plasq all year long. I was lucky enough to be in their private beta and in my opinion this is one of my favorite 2007 applicaitons period.

Well, Plasq is now in a an invite-only public beta.  They are doing this to keep up with demas.  They are are going to send out invites to those that first registered their interest at Macworld, then move to the mailing list that was featured on the original Skitch site.

I have contacted Chris (CEO of Plasq ) for an interview and if I get any Skitch invites I will likely give them away somehow in the show.  Go sign up today for the BETA as you will not be disappointed if you get in.
