Victor: new listener here. Love the show, and keep up the great work!

@bob in tennessee: I have a 2.0 GHz MacBook that I bought in mid-2006. Since I bought it, I’ve had the top case replaced *6* times. The first two times were for the “yellowing” problem, the remainder were all for the “mushy mouse button” problem. The last time I had it replaced (3 months ago) the Apple Store Genius told me that this was not a known problem, and that it was considered a cosmetic issue that normally isn’t covered under AppleCare, but they’d take care of it anyway. I too am a former ThinkPad user, and I’m frustrated that Apple won’t acknowledge this problem.

    Today it is Leopard day!

Over here, it is noon already. I am in the office and two of my colleagues told me, that Vista’s first service pack would be out soon.

I told them: no! No! :) Not soon! Today! It is being called Leopard. And it comes free with every Mac. It solves every Vista issue. Hasta la vista, Vista!

We have Windows because we need it for our tax software (we are auditors and accountants), but it looks as if I won’t be the only one any longer, who owns a Mac for home use.
