iPod Touch - Delete Video Trick

I stumbled onto this last night after I watched the last episode of Heroes  I had converted onto my iPod Touch.  Want to delete video content from the touch directly?  Press and hold the video in the list, after a second slide your finger to the left.  It will expand out a delete button.  Press delete and poof.

The weird thing is that it doesn’t delete it from iTunes.  Just the iPod and only till you resync if you have your sync rules setup to put it there.  Like in my case it is set to sync all unplayed tv shows.  Since I deleted it, the fact I watched it does not get sync’d back to iTunes.  Thus it goes right back on my iPod.

I suspect this option is best if you need room while on the road.  Such as if you wanted to buy music from the online music store and needed space.  A quick way to delete a video to make that space.
