Apple today revised the Mac Pro and Xserves with a new architecture and the recently released Penryn Processors. The Mac Pro combines two 45-nm Quad-Core Xeon processors running up to 3.2GHz and up to 4TB of internal storage. The standard 8-core configuration starts at $2799.

Since I thought new MacPros were going to be announced at Macworld this is my first offcial “miss” in my predictions.

Engadget is reporting the Apple store is down in the same fashion that is comes down when Steve Jobs takes the stage at any of his Keynotes. This is odd considering this is the Week of CES and it is only a week before Macworld with “The Steve’s” own presentation….What could they be up to?
