Apple Announces new Penryn based MacPro’s and XServes

Apple today revised the Mac Pro and Xserves with a new architecture and the recently released Penryn Processors. The Mac Pro combines two 45-nm Quad-Core Xeon processors running up to 3.2GHz and up to 4TB of internal storage. The standard 8-core configuration starts at $2799.

Since I thought new MacPros were going to be announced at Macworld this is my first offcial “miss” in my predictions.

  1. Nah, that isn't a miss Victor. Be sure to check out these new machines at Expo – am curious about the new graphics card performance.
