Macworld 2008 Videos: Data Robotics Drobo Share

This video introduces you to Data Robotics’ newest product, the Drobo Share.

A few of you got a Belkin Tune FM video file downloaded instead of the DROBO file. I reposted it so it should be fine now. If you got the Belkin file you can download the DROBO one here. Apologies.

Hey Victor, thanks for bringing us news from MacWorld, I really enjoyed it!

The DroboShare looks interesting. I do have one concern. If you get a chance to test one, could you compare data throughput with a standard USB model? To me, even if it has a gigabit connection, it's still limited by the weakest link in the chain, that being the USB connection. I can understand the convenience factor, but not any improvement in data transfer.

    Thanks!
    Ted
