I have the OWC Mercury Elite Pro. I love watching it scream through making a carbon copy cloner image to a drive I put in the Elite via FW800.

Oh I'm so glad I'm not alone in my lust for hard drives. Yes so far I was able to perform a 200GB backup in 2 hours, did a partition and boy is FW800 fast.

These are solid performers (figuratively and literally). Have 4, from a 4200 to 7200 rpm, used of course for storage and also as scratch disk (Photoshop, FCP).
