George Starcher and I did a show for Friends In Tech where we did an extended talk about the Eye-Fi SD Card. The Eye-Fi is a 802.11G wireless memory card. It lets you upload your photos to your computer and even sharing sites like Flickr straight from your camera as you take photos.

Well I could not have been more wrong in my prediction on Sunday that OS X Leopard 10.5.3 was going to be announced at WWDC. I just got home and learned that Apple has released OS X Leopard 10.5.3. Apparently it addresses over 70 bugs.
According to reports it also has a new feature that provides Address Book support for syncing with your Google account. In order to enable this people need to go to preferences with Address Book, add synchronize with Google, then enter their Google account details. Address book then does the syncing of your contact to and from Google Contacts/ Gmail.
Other fixes include active Directory binding and log in, Spotlight searches on remote APF servers, 802.1X behavior and reliability, iChat screen sharing, Automator, Parental Controls, and VoiceOver.
So I’ll drink the Kool-Aid and install it on my MacBook Pro.. I’ll do the combo update on my Mac Pro, thank you very much. Some people are claiming that it’s making them do a fresh install on the newer MacBook and MacBook Pros. I had no such problem and more than 20 minutes post install , all is well.
