Saw this ad persuading students to buy Microsoft Office. That sure looks like a Mac Book Pro running VMWare Fusion being used. It’s good to see that the folks in Redmond realize the power of a Mac in advertising and in computing.
It is no surprise that I am a fan of Geoff Smith the composer of the Typical Mac User Theme music, themes for many other podcasters and the co-founder of www.ringtonefeeder.com.
However Geoff is so much more than this. He is a super talented working musician who shares his talent with our geek and New Media community. Check out this new Video that I first saw on Cali and Neal’s geekbrief.tv , where his song ” Ones and 0s” is featured. Listen to the words, feel where he is coming from. Have you ever been on the other? or have you ever been the one who laughs or ridicules?
Then, go buy his on-line CD today and support this talented man. Oh yeah… of course he is a Mac.
Jon Davis (intern from geekbrief.tv) did the video and he totally rocked the house. This man also is full of talent. I met him briefly at Macworld too.

Yeah I know. Yet ANOTHER complaint about MobileMe. For fun I decided to start consolidating some of my less important email to me.com. Just to “Push” the limits of my @me.com address. Well I found one. Check the below screen shot. Yahoo groups won’t let you use an @me.com address. I love the part about contacting the owner of the @me.com domain. Yeah… I am sure that will work… Just watch the twitter traffic from folks having support nightmares getting help with more direct issues.
Katie from The Mac Core podcast, David Sparks from MacSparky.com and I figured out a work around to a problem Katie was having with MobileME calendar push synchronization and calendar subscriptions. You just need a Google Gmail account and BusySync for Mac. Maybe BusySync will add direct caldav subscription ability to their product and save us the gmail step to this workaround one day.
