Or you could skip it all and just use an iFrame?rnrntt rn

Interesting and thanks. I have not seen calgoo. Just shows you there are several ways to achieve the same process. I just happen to have a family license I use for google cal syncing and syncing between my wife's and my own icals.

Dave sometimes we have to make some assumptions in order to get the word out about a feature. Some will have it some will not but if it stimulates thought then that's the point . Thanks for the feedback

You can embed html code in most web page designers. Rapid weaver will let you too. I was thinking iweb07 will but hey there are many listeners and not every thing we produce can fit every listener.

Yes if you want the part just to use your iPhone or iPod without having to plug it in you have to use MobileME. Otherwise you can stick with iCal only and Busysync. Or you could even skip busy sync and try and do it with the recent google webdav support. I just have heard mixed results on doing that.

Great screencast George (as usual).
You made a couple of assumptions though... 1) Unless I'm missing something it looks like you're using iWeb '08 so you're assuming we all have that and 2) we all have a .Mac/Mobile Me account. The latter isn't important unless we want wireless synching from iPhone/iPod Touch but the first appears to be to add the web widget.

This is a great walk-through/tutorial for a feature that I (and I'm sure a lot of people) have looked forward to. My one comment would be that BusySync is not neccessary. A great free product (that I've been using for a while to keep my work calendars on Google synced to my iPhone) that would do the same thing is Calgoo Connect. I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

I'm sure that native google syncing will come eventually to iCal (it's technically there now, but there are LOTS of issues), until then CalGoo gets it done for free.
