When i tried to boot after the restart, it wouldnt boot. I tried holding down the Option Key, and macintosh HD didnt even show up as an option for booting. I booted from my SD backup, and ran disk util, and my recently acquired Drive Genius. I eventually found out that it had completely destroyed my filesystem. What i ended up having to do is reformat my drive, and use disk utility to restore my SD backup to my internal drive. I restored, and i was back up and running. I waited several weeks to update again, and didn't this weekend, and, thank goodness, it went off without a hitch. Thank God for SuperDuper!<br><br>Good thing i am paranoid about my backups.
