Show Notes:

I'll come out with a compromise for locking your latop.
What I do is this –
1) Have 'require password to wake from sleep' turned on.
2) Have the laptop set up 'never to sleep' (screen is set to turn off when not in use, however). This allows me to continue running me SETI and folding contributions. Which I like to run overnight as I sleep. Added bonus, the house-keeping runs with no issues.
3) Now when I wnat to lock my computer, I just close the lid.
That's it. When I leave the hotel room, I just close the lid. It's tied to something (in one case I actually moved the desk across the room so i could lash it to the cloths hanger) with a Kensington cable.
This is also handy when I take it with me… as lid needs to be closed to fit in the bag.

PS Hope the cruise was great.
