Victor, I really enjoyed the interview with John. It was nice to hear a pro talk about iMove 09 and video in general. (I thought I was the only one who walked around with a mono-pod attached to my camera). :-)

I read John's blog and follow him on twitter now I definitely have to check out his podcasts.

    Thanks!

Yeah he totally rocks. It was great to talk to someone who does this for a living. He will be on again (I hope)

That Canon HV30 he talked about does very well in low light. Ask John on Twitter. He is @LifeZero

Nice podcast about video and iMovie… Any recommendations on a video camera that would work well in lower light (aka a Hockey Arena)?rn

Where can you buy the inexpensive lavalier mic that John was talking about? I searched Radio Shack and could not find it.

I loooooved this episode! Thank you so much for having John on. I'm even more excited about iMovie 09. I just did my first teeny little project and actually did that cut away deal that y'all talked about instinctevely. I was quite proud of myself.

My question is this. I have a Sony HDR-HC5 and it doesn't have a line in for a mic, just the built in one. Is there a way to put a windscreen on that somehow? It's this big rectangular shape deal underneath the lens. I really can't get a NEW camera, and would love to stop all that background noise ;)

    Great show…again :)

Hi, so I saw your camera and I think you could do a DYI windscreen. If you get a regular mic windscreen and cut a piece out that would go in front of your camera's mic. You can use velcro to put on your camera and on the cut-out windscreen you made and it may not look pretty but would likely work. Some scissor, velcro and a little creativity can do the job on this one I thin. Thanks for the comments
