IDG does the Macworld Expo Proud Again

Paul Kent and his team at IDG has pulled off what many thought would be the impossible a successful Macworld Expo 2010. So many peopled feared that Macworld Expo without Apple was dead.

I’m here to tell you that the Macworld Expo is alive and well. I had a fantastic time at  the Macworld Expo. Not only did I have the fantastic social interactions with friends and colleagues that I treasure, but I got plenty of business done.

As a press pass holder I was able to get 25 interviews with vendors that I’ll be able to share with you in the next weeks. This would simply not have been possible without Apple not being there , and therefore giving me more time to interview the developers and vendors that you want to hear about.

Congratulations Paul, you are a class act , and have put on a class show. See you next year. Here are Paul Kent’s thoughts on what’s next for Macworld Expo

Maworld Expo Here I Come

Filed under: TMUP Screencasts — Victor Cajiao @ 3:27 pm

Wanted to write this post for those of you who were asking about my Macworld Expo plans.

  • Adam Christianson from the Maccast and I are arriving in San Francisco on Wed the 10th. This is the third year we have roomed together
  • Look for a podcast during the week from me and some of my friends.
  • I’ll be doing vendor interviews so I can bring a piece of the show back to all of you.
  • I’ll be taking pictures of interesting products and posting them on my Flickr page
  • You can see what I am up to by following me on Twitter. I am [at]victorcajiao
  • If you see me on the floor walking or doing an interview with  vendors, please walk up to me and introduce your self. Don’t be shy, I love meeting people
  • I will likely have a few tickets to the Mac Observers Cirque du Mac Party Details: Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 8pm – 12am. It’s the best party during Macworld. So hit me up early to see if I have any tickets left (no promises)
  • I will be part of the MacRoundtable Podcast Saturday, February 13, 2010. 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM, MNS14: MacRoundtable Podcast
  • I have not set up an “official” photowalk but will likely get up early (like 5AM) on Friday to shoot the city from across they bay. Tweet me and maybe join me
  • Adam and I will be going home on Sunday.

I’m looking forward to being at Macworld Expo this year and sharing time with all of you. It’s what the Mac community is all about.

Haven’t signed up to be at Macworld Expo this year?Just go to the Macworld Expo web site and use priority code TWEETMW and you will get a $15 Expo pass or 15% off of any conference package. Thats a $30 savings of the regular $45 price. A great deal!
