Hi Victor, I was getting a bit worried when you didn't put a podcast out for a while but I stayed subscribed. I thought the security preferences podcast was great, it had some nice tips on things I'd never even heard about, like the sharing preferences and the like. I'd never been through these settings before so it was really useful, thanks :)

NO worries. Every two weeks and I had put out some video content so I'm back on track. Thanks for listening

I had no idea that it was two weeks between podcasts :)

Yes used to be weekly but my schedule does not allow for that now.

Well, whenever you put out something it's always appreciated! ;)

BTW, thanks for the tip on your recent iPad 3G podcast with George, concerning stopping reoccurring ATT charges. I did what you did (purchasing/selling a non-3G iPad) and got my 3G in last week, but just needed to activate 3G service today. We're infrequent 3G users, so I wanted to make sure we would only be billed for one cycle. Your advice worked like a charm.

Thanks and have a good weekend!

    Victor:

Great podcast: thanks. I really appreciate the tips on which settings to use when you're home vs. the coffee shop.

Knox encryption: I use this in place of PGP as I to am worried about the great yellow blob's intentions. I back up at home and have a private backup of my mac at the office. I would like to use Knox with my Time Capsule at the office (i.e. encrypt the drive and then mount when I'm going to use).

I was also going to use this for my SuperDuper bootable backup, but it kind of defeats the purpose as I'd loose the 'bootable' part of that redundancy.

    Your thoughts?

    Scott

PS: love the MCETech video. I'm drooling over your set-up!
